Anyway, hey, hello. Resurrecting this page as a sort of landing site because cohost is shutting down and I wanted to keep the longform posting bug going over here. Gonna be uploading my favorite original posts here, and may try using this as a general blog. We shall see.

Haha, yeah it sure is. It's just way different from how I pick my profile options these days. For one I'd credit the image source 😅

It's the same deal with my tumblr banner on mobile. Really cool illustration of a whale leaping out from some clouds! Absolutely zero idea who made it or where I grabbed it from. One of these days I should go reverse image search the thing, assuming I can extract the image itself from where I submitted it.

Yeah, it's a real fuckin bummer. I'm so sorry you had to find out this way😅 One of my favorite sites in terms of format; it's the first social media where I bothered to start making original longform posts of any kind.

A handful of people have been life-rafting off back to the discord server - idk if you're already on there or not, but I could shoot you an invite if you're interested? There's sporadic activity on tumblr as well, but yeah. Maybe if we make enough noise people will show up here as well haha

i've seen the discord invite floating around, yeah ... i find big discord servers a little overwhelming though :( they move very fast and just aren't a good substitute for the things i like out of fandom on twitter/tumblr/etc .... i could give it another shot though, it couldn't hurt

Yeah, I get what you mean, it's different on a static platform than a live chat. Sometimes I've made it work by just hanging out in a specific channel, but at worst it's potentially somewhere you can share thoughts or find cool fanworks.

Wow, I didn't know it was spreading to other services like that. Most of my netwide coverage is just people copying stuff I've written in magazines or the like. Thanks for letting me know.
